  18. Not really. I guess ESCOM has invested, more or less, $30M in AT since they
  19. bought Commodore. VIScorp probably decided to let ESCOM have Commodore as
  20. long as the OS and the hardware could be licensed from AT. Now ESCOM had
  21. financial problems and might have sold AT to other parties which might have
  22. been less willing to license Amiga technology to VIScorp so VIScorp had to
  23. pull out $40M and buy the whole packet.
